What are Gel Blasters?
A Gel Blaster is a toy weapon that shoots small water gel balls (‘gel balls’). They are similar to airsoft or paintball guns, but safer and cleaner. The balls evaporate after use and leave no mess behind.
What are gel balls?
Gel balls are soft balls (Orbeez) that consist of 95% water. These balls need to be soaked in water, after which they will slowly expand.
Do Gel Blasters hurt?
Gel balls are soft and consist mainly of water. At close range, they may sting slightly, but they do not cause injury when used correctly.
Are Gel Blasters safe?
Yes, absolutely! Gel Blasters are completely safe when used correctly. The gel balls are non-toxic and biodegradable. However, we do recommend wearingsafety gogglesat all times. These are included as standard with most models (see product description).
Are Gel Blasters suitable for children?
There is no minimum age requirement for using a Gel Blaster.
However, manufacturers do provide recommended ages, which may vary per model depending on power, size and ease of use.
Would you like to know the recommended age for a specific model? Feel free to contact us – we are happy to help you with appropriate advice.
My Gel Blaster won't fire, what should I do?
Check:
  1. Whether the battery is fully charged.
  2. Whether the gel balls are properly hydrated; their diameter should be between 7 and 8 mm.
  3. Whether there is any blockage in the magazine or barrel of the weapon.
  4. Whether the on/off switch is turned on.
Is the problem still there? Then please contact us via the contact page.
How do I maintain my Gel Blaster?
After each use:
  • Ensure that the magazine is completely empty.
  • Clean the barrel of the weapon with a dry cloth.
  • Ensure that the battery is at least 30% charged when not in use.
  • Store the gel balls in an airtight container.
